Stiles: Take care of people, defend every job, and fight back hard

TORONTO - Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles released the following statement:

“Trump’s reckless tariffs are putting half a million Ontario jobs at risk. Workers, families and communities are worried about what the future holds.

“We have to defend every single job and fight back hard. We need to make sure people can keep a roof over their heads and keep putting food on the table. We need to work in lock-step with our provincial counterparts and the federal government to levy a smart, tough tariff response that hits back hard.

“Now is the time for unity. Every province must stand together alongside the federal government in our response. We can never let Trump divide us within Canada, or divide us from our allies across the world. We’re stronger together, and together is how we win this fight.”
